Recipe Provided by Auckland Center, New Zealand

  Ingredients

1 piece of tofu (Pic. 1)
1 ripe avocado, peeled, halved, pitted (Pic. 2)
Some vegetarian fried pork flakes (optional) (Pic. 3)

Seasonings (Pic. 4)
3-4 tbsp soy sauce paste
(can change the portion depending on the brand and/or taste of the soy paste)
3-4 tbsp extra light olive oil
2-2.5 tbsp good quality sesame oil
Mix the above ingredients and set aside
Directions
(1)In a large bowl, mash the tofu and avocado and mix well.
(2) Add the combined seasonings to the tofu avocado mixture and mix well.
(3) Spread a layer of vegetarian fried pork flakes on top of this mixture.(Pic. 5)

Notes

This dish must be served immediately, because the tofu becomes watery and avocado turns black after a while.
In summer, the tofu and avocado can be put in the fridge first to make the taste more refreshing. This dish can be served with or without rice.
Without the vegetarian fried pork flakes, the taste is lighter but still good.
Different kinds of seasoning herbs can be used to create different flavors, such as cilantro, minced Chinese cedur leaves or chopped green onions.
