International Book Fair Attracts Those Longing For God

We intuitively feel that the first Central American International Book Fair recently held in Costa Rica is an opportunity bestowed by God on those Truth seekers to fulfill their longing for the Truth. Although visitors to the Quan Yin booth came from many different places, each one of them seemed to share an affinity with Master. Many of them already knew about Her -- some through the television and some through lectures they had attended. Many visitors to the booth decided to become vegetarian immediately after reading the sample booklets.

On the evening of the opening day, two rainbows appeared bright and resplendent in the pink sky, creating so beautiful a sight that it made us feel that Master was blessing us. It was just like the way rainbows would appear in the sky every time initiates visited inmates in jail. During the two-week exhibition, copies of the sample booklet and the Supreme Master Ching Hai News magazine were distributed to large numbers of visitors, some of whom had the chance to see Master's video lecture for the first time. The book fair drew large crowds on its last evening. Many visitors to the booth asked questions about Master's teachings, and, thanks to Her omnipresent power, most of the answers were provided in the video that was played that evening. When many people learned that the beautifully and uniquely designed Celestial Clothes came from the hands of a spiritual Master, their interest was aroused and they asked for sample booklets. A visitor told booth attendants that he knew many international fashion designers, but never had he seen one who could design for the human body works that were so rich in truth and beauty.

At this activity, people of all ages, including children, teenagers and adults, all came to share in the teachings of Supreme Master Ching Hai. Many of them registered for the Convenient Method of meditation and some applied for initiation into the Quan Yin Method. Fellow initiates are very grateful to Master for giving them the opportunity to understand more about Her work. She never works or enjoys anything for Herself. Every action She performs and every thought that She has are for those who long for God.
