  Ingredients

.Prepare a 9inch pie pan

 
.Piecrust
 Ingredients:

250g all-purpose flour
165g vegetable shortening
1tsp salt
1tbsp fine granular sugar
70g chilled water

 
.Fillings
 Ingredients:

340g raisins
480g water
65g fine granular sugar
15g cornstarch
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp sugar
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp butter

Directions
1. Sift the flour on a working surface (Pic 1), add salt, and sugar and mix with a spatula (Pic 2).
 
 

Add vegetable shortenings (Pic 3) in the flour mix. Cut the shortening into the mixture using two pastry cutters whiling mixing. The resulting mixture should have lumps about the size of soybeans (Pic 4).

 
 

Finally, sprinkle chilled water evenly (Pic 5) on the mixture and form a dough with a pastry cutter (Pic 6-8).

 
 

Wrap the dough in plastic and store in the fridge for one hour (Pic 9). Next, we make fillings.

 
 

2. In a small pot, combine raisins and water (Pic 10) and cook until boiling over medium heat. Continue to cook for 5 minutes (Pic 11) after boiling.

 
 

Add sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon powder and salt (Pic 12). Turn to low heat and continue to cook while stirring until the mixture thickened. Remove from the heat (Pic 13), add vinegar and butter, mix well and set aside to cool.
