INITIATION PROCESS
You'll
hear the inner vibration or God's voice but without physical ears; you'll
see the Light of God without physical eyes. I cannot speak of it. Language
and intellect belong to the realm of mind and matter (which are limited),
not soul and God (which are unlimited). Our thinking arises from data,
from learning, from other people's thinking. Our soul and God's Nature
are spontaneously self-born, self-existing, self-supporting and pure.
So anything that's influenced by society, by thinking,
by philosophy or by language belongs to intellect and not to wisdom.
So I can only transmit it in complete silence. This is why we call it
mind-to-mind or heart-to-heart transmission.

By
the grace of the Master and by the God power inside, we get cleansed,
even though we're not very pure at the time of initiation.
We see Light and hear Sound when we break through the prison door because
they exist beyond material existence. That's why we call
it instant or immediate enlightenment. It means that at the time of
initiation, we're in contact with higher worlds, and that
we're no longer disconnected from them.
Let's
say that it's a sunny day and you're in
your house. If you don't open the door, you can't see
the sun. Similarly, the Light and Sound of God exist, but we're
closed out in the prison of our own thoughts, prejudices and actions
from many lives, and so we can't see or hear. During initiation,
the Master gives us a chance to break through once and for all. But
we have to keep going because there are many more levels to discover.
Actually, initiation is only the beginning; although it's
a great start because many people work from the lowest chakra up to
the top one, and this can take maybe ten years whereas we begin with
the top one. The Master draws the whole power all the way to the top
of the head so we can see the Light. Wisdom eye is the door to Heaven,
and you will go to many mansions.
When we transmit this method we don't even speak, and
you'll get the best enlightenment. You'll
get something you never had before, and feel something you never felt
before: so light, so relaxed, so beautiful, so sinless. That's
the meaning of baptism. When Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist,
He saw the Light that came down like a dove. So when we're
baptized by a person who claims that he can baptize you, he must give
you at least some Light, just like this dove that came from Heaven,
or a Light like a big flame that's mentioned in the Bible,
or you'll hear the Sound of God like the thunderous voice
of God, or the sound of many waters. Then you're sure
that you're baptized.

Life eternal is what we are, wisdom is what we possess, love is what
our nature is, and this can't be destroyed with any bomb
at all. It can't be limited by space and time. Therefore,
the Masters initiate disciples without the limitations of space and
time. Masters don't have to always be where the disciples are, but they
can help them and bless them anyway. The disciples will grow into mastership
and also do the same.

Initiation is actually just a word for opening the spirit. We're
crowded by many kinds of obstacles, invisible as well as visible, thus
so-called initiation is the process of opening the gate of Wisdom and
letting it flow through this world, to bless the world, as well as the
so-called Self. But the true Self is always in glory and wisdom, so
there's no need of blessing for that.

Initiation means the beginning of a new life into a new order. It means
that the Master has accepted you to become one of the beings in the
circle of Saints. Then, you're no longer an ordinary being,
you're elevated, just like when you enroll in a university,
you're no longer a high school student. In the old times,
they called it baptism or taking refuge in the Master.

Q. What is initiation?
M. Okay. Initiation is meant to connect you back to your own God power
again. Connect you back with your own God power inside, or back to your
Buddha Nature. It's the same thing. Just like with an electrician, the
wires are there, the bulbs are there, but there's no light.
Then he fixes them together. And then there's light. He
connects the light to the power house and then there's
light.

Q. I'd like to know what the "initiation" you
were talking about conducting tonight means.
M. Initiation means, at the time you're very sincerely
longing to know our Kingdom of God within, our own greatness, our inherent
wisdom, if you want to know that, then we arrange it. Because we have
it inside, but you just forget, and don't know where to push the button.
And because the button is not visible, it has to be done invisibly within
ourselves. So at the time of initiation, the experienced friend or guide
will help you to push open that button. And from then on, you enter
into the circle of Sainthood, and you know your wisdom. And when the
button is pushed open, there's a signal, like bright light
coming through, or Heavenly music. That's the signal for
the opening of the Kingdom of God within you. You already have it, so
the Master or teacher doesn't give you anything, but just helps you
to rediscover it. That's initiation.

Q. Master, can You explain initiation into the Quan Yin Method?
M. Initiation is a kind of invisible wisdom opening ceremony, with no
flowers, no incense, no prostrations, no Buddha statues, no church,
nothing, only you and your own positive, original power. When you sit
there all alone, I'll point your soul where to go, in
order to get the positive and negative back together. Now you're
separated because you're always leaning onto the negative
side for survival. But when you sit alone there and are ready and willing
to go back, I just pull you back with no action involved.
These things are abstract, are the wonderful things of the invisible
power. There's no doing of anything. Do without doing.
I don't even have to be there. I don't even have to know your name,
your address, your age or your profession. I don't have to know you;
I mean physically. Inside I know. Therefore, initiation is just like
you sit there and get back your positive side. You know, like you're
out of balance so that you always lean on the negative. Now, you come
back and then you're balanced. That's it. And then you know that you're
enlightened because you saw the Light, and you received the teaching
from Heaven through melody.
It's
not in "English" and it's not in Chinese. It's wordless words,
silent sounds. This will make you wiser, and you'll realize
more and more that you're great, and you're
the master of the house. That's initiation. But no words can describe
it because I don't talk to you at that time. I might not
even be present because you'll be along with the whole
universe then. That's how you know yourself. It's difficult to try to
understand now. If you don't, just go for initiation and then you'll
understand.

Q. How can initiation be achieved?
M.
It's what we call baptism in Catholicism, ortaking refuge in the Buddha,
relying on the Buddha. You see, in the Bible it's said
that when John the Baptist baptized with water, Jesus saw the Light
from Heaven; white Light from Heaven came down like a bird. This is
a kind of initiation. When you see Light, you're en-lightened;
that's an initiation. It doesn't happen due to water. It happened due
to the force of John the Baptist. Otherwise we bathe in water every
day; everyone bathes in water and doesn't get enlightened. But the Master
doesn't always need to use water. He can use a flower,
or a candle, or fire, or he can use nothing, only the Holy Spirit. Therefore,
John the Baptist said, "No doubt, I baptize with water,
but the one who comes after me, who is much mightier than I am, will
baptize with the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit."; And the Holy
Spirit is invisible. You can't hold it, you can't catch it and you will
only have it. You'll receive it in silence at the time
of initiation. The Master won't talk, won't shake your hand, and doesn't
even need to do this [Master touches Her own head]. It's helpful
to do but not necessary; because when the Master touches you no doubt
the current is stronger. But the Master doesn't even need to do that
to give you initiation, to give you the Light of God like John the Baptist
did.

Q. If it can't be transmitted through words, how do You
transmit it?
M. First, the teacher must realize his own true Self and then it will
be done automatically in a different level of existence, in a different
level of consciousness. It means the consciousness of the teacher and
the disciple will be connected, and then something is done that we can't
explain in verbal language. For example, we can't explain
the love between a couple or the love between a mother and child, but
nevertheless it exists and both of them understand.
