Little Carlos Mario So sa Rosiles, who is two years and eight months old, looks like he is enjoying his first session of neuro-stimulation therapy, with a dolphin called Venus nudging him along.

They were in a dolphin aquarium at a Mexico City zoo on Tuesday as part of therapy for mentally-handicapped children to help improve their co-ordination. The doctor in charge of the treatment says children with motor-neuron disabilities, autism and other mental handicaps may improve when the brain is stimulated by the dolphins' high-frequency sounds. -Reuters picture.
