Concern For The Flood Victims In Bangladesh

Supreme Master Ching Hai learned about the recent flood disaster in Bangladesh caused by the reversed overflow of sea water which was estimated to have affected three hundred and fifty thousand people. Before any international community had launched relief operations, Supreme Master Ching Hai instructed Her headquarters to quickly contact the relevant international organizations to ask whether they required manŽpower support. Knowing that the U.N. had already posted a commissioner to the Bangladesh capital Dhaka, which provided a channel to facilitate delivery of relief materials to the affected area, Supreme Master Ching Hai imŽmediately instructed that US$ 20,000 be given to the U.N. for a relief fund so that the flood victims could receive the warmth of love in time!
