Initiate sister Shin-Cheng was deeply grateful to Master for the chance to be on the exhibition-working team for The Real Love musical in 2011. At that time, she performed her cleaning duties with great devotion and humility, winning the gratitude of her fellow team members.

Sister Shin-Cheng loves all things related to art and beauty, and in her youth won many prizes in school art competitions. As a housewife, however, she has been too busy to paint or do other art work for many years.

Thus, before joining the exhibition team for the Loving the Silent Tears event, she hoped to be part of its decoration division so that she could do some of her beloved art work. Her wish was not fulfilled, however, as she was again given a cleaning job. Naturally, she felt disappointed, and this time did not dedicate herself fully to her work. Whenever she felt she had done her cleaning job well enough, she would leave immediately to ask the decoration workers if they needed help. But although she meant well, she was reprimanded each time. It seemed that she was being treated like an outsider, so she felt sad and depressed, and wondered why others were acting this way when she had done nothing wrong.

Then one day while complaining inwardly about her situation, sister Shin-Cheng suddenly remembered what Master had said about others treating us unkindly – it sometimes happens because we need to correct some aspect of ourselves. So every day she began to look within – perhaps it was because her vibrations were too low or her ego was too big. But despite such diligent introspection the situation did not change. Then one day she suddenly realized that she needed to focus on her own work, and not be choosy about the type of work she did, or desire to do her favorite type of work just to show off her talents. After this inner breakthrough, she began doing her cleaning chores with diligence, and the situation suddenly took a 180-degree turn. Everyone began treating her well and people even came to her for help with decorating. Nonetheless, to avoid slowing down the work of both divisions, she would say that she had to finish her cleaning first before coming to help with the decorating. Interestingly, it turned out that she was always able to do both jobs efficiently.

At first she could not understand why this dramatic transformation had occurred, but later realized that it was because her attitude had changed. Her test involved letting go of her discriminatory mind and doing her duty well. She was then deeply grateful to Master for arranging a perfect situation, in which the fellow initiates around her played various roles to help her experience a breakthrough in personal growth.
