[Taipei] Every March, when the faint fragrance of blooming azaleas spreads far and wide in Formosa, National Taiwan University (NTU) holds its grand Azalea Season Festival, heralding the arrival of spring. This year's Festival, which opened on March 8-9, featured exhibits sponsored by various University departments and a fair for student associations. The NTU Light and Sound Association, formed by University students who are members of the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association, earnestly participated in the activity.

Projects were carried out to share Supreme Master Ching Hai's latest publication God's Direct Contact - The Way to Reach Peace with the public. Members of the Light and Sound Association designed an interesting and unique game called NTU Vegetarian Food Tour - Monopoly to introduce visitors to vegetarian restaurants located around the campus. Vegetarian booklets were also distributed and the message of love and peace transmitted.

Professor Chu Hong-yuan of Formosa's prestigious research institution Academia Sinica and NTU's Department of Modern History, who served as chairman of the Academia Sinica seminar where Master gave a lecture, visited the Association's stand. Professor Chu picked up a microphone and gave an impromptu talk to the visitors at the booth. He prayed that in this world of tension and conflict, Supreme Master Ching Hai would continue to uphold the ideal of supreme compassion and lead the Quan Yin family and the rest of the world toward peace so as to spare humanity the suffering of war and preserve a civilization where love prevails. Professor Chu's brief but forceful speech drew a thunderous round of applause from the crowd! Coincidentally, former Legislator Chien Hsi-kai, another peace-loving person, also visited the stand. After reading the introduction to God's Direct Contact - The Way to Reach Peace, he lauded Master's efforts for world peace and contributions to humankind.

The students of the Light and Sound Association hoped that sharing the higher wisdom of the "Way toward Peace" through participation in the Azalea Season Festival could truly uplift their inner power of love and help guide them to self-realization. Influenced by their enthusiastic introduction to Master and the Quan Yin Method, over a dozen people requested initiation into the Convenient Method in hopes of experiencing the joy of direct contact with God.
