141/Panorama of Events/ Report from Venezuela

[Maracaibo] During a November 2002 trip to Puerto Piritu, east of Venezuela, a Colombian initiate decided to ask an old friend from Maracaibo to come and assist with several video seminars being planned in the area. The friend was so touched by Master's love during the seminars that she asked if we would travel to Maracaibo to spread Master's teachings there. Another sister from Lima, Peru, who had kindly helped us with the seminars we had presented earlier in Bogota, Colombia, agreed to come and assist in Maracaibo.

Once more, from the first day, Master's love made all the necessary arrangements go effortlessly and perfectly. An old friend took us to various places around the city and we had soon chosen the venue for our first video seminar. Everyone felt Master's blessings in the event's warm atmosphere.

Our second seminar was held in a conference room attached to a holistic health center. And it too was very successful, with the majority of the audience members staying on to learn the Convenient Method and commenting on their beautiful experiences during the transmission. The third fruitful conference was held at the Facultad de Ingeneria at Zulia State University. Many people were so touched by Master's teachings at the event that we also did group meditation at a local college for those who had received the Convenient Method; this session was very well attended and the owner of the college, who had become a Convenient Method practitioner, offered the college as a regular meditation venue.

Additionally, another person practicing the Convenient Method, a professor from Urbe University, offered her house, along with that of a friend, as a place for group meditation. This made available three locations to accommodate the large number of local people who wished to continue their Convenient Method group meditation practice.

We left Venezuela charged with Master's divine love, feeling hopeful that many spiritual seeds had been planted in the kind, pure hearts of the local citizenry during this first trip, and that soon they would bear the fruit of more and more Quan Yin practitioners in the Maracaibo area.
