[Los Angeles] On August 18, 2001, initiates from the Los Angeles Center held a highly successful video seminar in the predominantly Chinese community of Monterey Park, CA, east of Los Angeles. Despite a very light advertising campaign for the event, the community's Bruggemeyer Memorial Library Friends Room was filled to capacity with interested guests. Initiates had to stand in the back and along the sides of the Room, as audience members continued to filter into the venue all during the showing of Master's lecture-videotape-"Return to the Innocence of Childhood."

Due to the Library's time constraints, we were limited to a two and a half hour period to use the venue, with some extra time for setup and cleanup. So a question and answer session was not possible; however, the guests seemed completely satisfied with Master's words and blessed by Her power, so that almost all stayed behind to receive the Convenient Method, and several requested initiation. One man even followed us out the door when we left, announcing eagerly, "Remember to keep me informed about initiation!"

After many successful video seminars over the last several years, our Los Angeles brothers and sisters have become used to rapid and efficient setup and cleanup operations, and everything went off without a hitch. The experience seemed especially meaningful for us this time, since, with a minimum of expense and advertising, Master had helped us to pull off a highly successful effort in a community rich in spiritual history and with great longing for the Truth.
