Oil painting
Place: Ping Tung River,
   Formosa
Time: Nov. - Dec., 1990
Size: 51.4 × 41 cm

The Supreme Master Ching Hai felt that most people are just like those few stones, regarding themselves as being very important and always holding meaning-less meetings, while wars, disasters and all kinds of problems still exist as before. They think that they are great, and very busy.

The surrounding patches of red and yellow sand symbolize the anxiety and fury of the weak and the helpless. In contrast, She has painted the stones in conference with sluggish and cold colors. By juxtaposing these two elements, She has created a strong contrast of moods in this painting.
