The Golden Dragon fruit, depicted in the painting, is a famous Au Lac fruit which can occasionally be found on the dinner table at the Hsihu Center. In Master's painting, the color of the pulp is distinctively black and white, with the crimson skin embellished by the quiver-ing leaves. It gives an impression of being fresh as well as being deliciously sweet!
It is difficult to paint a still life. Through Her paint brush, the Supreme Master Ching Hai has captured the charm of " action in inaction", and given life to this Golden Dragon fruit, which comes from Her homeland Au Lac. |
