The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association Publishing Company,
its sales outlet and an art gallery on Sung Shan Road has been opened
recently. Throughout the day, fellow initiates from all parts of Formosa
came and brought with them many meaningful gifts. Fellow initiates attending
the opening ceremony were grateful for Master's grace. Amidst joyful
applause and firecrackers, they warmly welcomed passersby into the store,
sharing candies and cookies.

Company officially opens at Sung Shan in Taipei.

Two
new trademarks have been designed for the officially opened publishing
company and bookstore. The logo of the bookstore on Sung Shan Road is
an open book with the "SUMA" sign. This is used for publications,
including books and videotapes. This elegant logo placed high above
the pedestrian walk is clearly discernible from across the street. It
tells people silently that here is a treasure hall for wisdom seekers.
Another trademark is a clover with the word "Suma." This is
the logo for the ethereal and peerless art works of Supreme Master Ching
Hai, including Her paintings and Longevity Lamps. Usually, a clover
has three leaves, but according to legend, one who finds a four-leaf
clover is the luckiest person on earth and one who possesses this lucky
charm is ever successful. Therefore, people who buy items bearing this
mark will be the lucky ones as they will possess this lucky logo bestowed
by God and enjoy the supreme blessings and fortunes that come with it.
Items from the publishing
company are displayed in the two-story premises. The bookstore on the
ground floor offers a wide assortment of Master's books, audio tapes,
videotapes and photos. On the second floor is the art gallery, where
art works created by Supreme Master Ching Hai over the years are exhibited.
In addition to the Longevity Lamps that are on display, the rarely seen
high fidelity replica prints of Her paintings are suspended on walls
covered with beige wooden tiles that serve as a perfect background for
the wonderfully colored and beautiful paintings.
Visitors to the store can
appreciate with their souls the spiritual meaning behind the art works.
Due to Supreme Master Ching Hai's vast collection of artistic creations,
the items on display will be changed periodically. Bookstore decorations
will also be changed to celebrate the different seasons and festivals
of the year, and give fresh impressions to both new and old friends
from all walks of life.
The
warm atmosphere of the opening ceremony attracted many passersby. Some
took a peep inside, while those who were interested halted their footsteps
to watch Master's videotaped lectures. Many people stepped in to study
the items on display, or curiously ask about Master's life story. Whatever
the reason the visitors might have come in for, they all left with joyful
satisfaction. The establishment of the Supreme Master Ching Hai International
Association Publishing Company not only offers fellow initiates easier
access to Master's publications, but also helps to spread Her teachings
so that more people in the world become acquainted with Supreme Master Ching Hai.
