Report From Mexico

<Veracruz> Our meditation center invited fellow initiates from our sister cities -- Mexico City, Puebla, Oaxaca and Cancun -- for a 2-day retreat. These cities are quite far from Veracruz, so the fellow initiates didn't know each other. Therefore, the retreat was like a reunion of the Quan Yin family.

One fellow initiate was very happy, as this was her first time attending a retreat and the energy from the group meditation was very strong. Another fellow initiate (who had moved to another town where only he and his wife were initiated) was moved to tears by the meditation room, because once inside the room he experienced the love that he had missed for a long time.

The goals set for and accomplished during the retreat were to get to know each other, to help each other work together, and to grow spiritually with Master's teachings, both inside and out. It was nice to hear what other Centers had done.

Master's love was ever present with us. This retreat felt like a union of the strengths of different muscles of the body working together. It was also similar to a big tree spreading its branches for people to find shelter.
