If there is one thing that our fellow practitioners most desire, maybe it is to attend international retreats. Throughout the world, practitioners often leave everything because they know these are good opportunities to see a living enlightened Master with other fellow initiates, and to enjoy the ocean of Master,s blessing and bathe in the Truth. Who doesn't want to attend!
I returned to Hsihu Center, the hometown of my heart after nearly one year had passed. It was a precious time more valuable than any amount of gold: the clear sound of bamboos and birds singing, and the beautiful scenes of the green trees, the Rainbow Garden and the Nectar River. Living with mother nature, there were also group meditations with thousands of fellow practitioners and Master. We all became immersed in Master's teachings, and enjoyed Christmas carols and delicious food.
Master especially blessed each of the foreign practitioners who were to leave the next day. Is there any other happiness and contentment in this world except this one' This was the best Christmas celebration in my life. During this celebration with Master, I couldn't help crying all the time.
Recently, I have even talked about the benefits of practice to a friend of mine: "If we practice, we can live with the best ideal." It is difficult to satisfy the worldly desires such as honor, political power and wealth. And even if we get these things, even if we have everything, only death will be waiting for us. But we practitioners have the great aim to attain liberation and complete enlightened, and we have the highest method and an enlightened Master to back it up. Therefore, our lives becomes better and more energized everyday. Also, after death, we will be free and go to a bright world.
During the 3-clay retreat, my goal became much clearer. Since then, I do my best in this life to live more fully by following Master's teachings -always thinking of God, living with others with love, and especially loving my family and neighbors. I try very hard to do my best as I live my life fully everyday and spread the message of a bright hope to people. This is the only way I can repay Master who saves our souls.
