Since ancient times, there have been many spiritual practitioners on Qinling Range in Shanxi Province - Zhongnan Mountain is especially famous for this.
On Qinling, the sister practitioners Li & Wang met two heavenly children who were making tea. On Taibai Mountain, they met an officer who had witnessed Lao Tzu's departure from Hangu Fortress. On Huashan Mountain, they saw immortal beings playing Chinese chess. On another mountain, they witnessed the battle strategy used for killing immortals during the time of Ziya Jiang of the Zhou Dynasty. They were curious and went into it, and narrowly escaped.
For an unknown reason, the sisters Li & Wang were selected as the disciples of heavenly beings. They never knew who their masters were, let alone what their masters looked like. Sometimes they would experience clairvoyance and clairaudience and got to know many things while communicating with them.
But they used to disobey the instructions and thus learned several lessons. It was then that they came to realize that the instructions were for their benefit. After these experiences, they began to accept their fate and totally surrendered.
First of all, their masters requested that they go to Qingcheng Mountain to build a spiritual base for themselves in a hundred clays. Qingcheng Mountain is one of the most famous Taoist sanctuaries. They went there and sought temporary lodgings at an old Taoist nun's temple.
Three days later, the nun asked them: "What are you practicing? What did you do to the small ghosts I have trained to assist me"?
"No,no. We are not practicing anything at all," they answered honestly.
It turned out that the nun was very secretive about her spiritual advancement. She practiced the methods of the Maoshan Taoist Sect, and obtained many magical powers and exalted Kungfu skills. For example, she could stand on one finger ("one-finger Zen").
She had trained several minor ghosts to help her take care of the temple property. Ordinary strangers dared not even stay for more than one night. But the sisters stayed there without any trouble. So the old nun wondered about them because the ghosts that she had trained all disappeared!
The nun felt very puzzled and after chatting with the sisters, she learnt that they were protected by heavenly beings. She told them that she had thirteen non-human disciples. Each of them had magical powers and could transform themselves into human beings. Among these disciples there was a fox which transformed itself perfectly into the most beautiful human being. The pig transformed itself into the ugliest forms; the noses, ears and feet of which did not look much like those of human beings.
The nun's fox disciple went to Hubei.
The nun taught her disciples secret methods each night. During the day, the disciples went to the deep recesses of the mountain to rest, because they were afraid of being seen.
The two sisters were awakened by the heavenly beings to practice Kungfu as early as two or three o'clock in the morning each day, and were not allowed to be seen by others. If they were seen by others while practicing shadow boxing, they would automatically stop.
The sisters were both in their forties, so they needed to strengthen their bodies. They had practiced all kinds of shadow boxing, and all of their routines came naturally to them.
Their masters instructed them not to record any of their movements; otherwise, their subsequent movements would be inhibited. Sometimes they jumped and leaped; sometimes they did somersaults and rolled about. Their skin was often bruised and bled, but they were told not to worry about it. After finishing practice and resting, they naturally recovered from their wounds which left no scars.
After they strengthened their bodies, they began to practice unblocking their ida and pingala channels. They were told to seclude themselves in Tianshi Cave, where their masters taught them to orient their solar plexus chakras to the Sun to continuously absorb its essence, until the area became very warm. This was done at specific times and with specific techniques.
After they accomplished building a spiritual base for themselves in one hundred clays? they were instructed to leave Qingching Mountain and to go to other famous mountains to visit and practice.
They visited Manjushri Bodhisattva's sanctuary, Wu Tai Mountain; Quan Yin Bodhisattva's sanctuary, Pu Tuo Mountain, O- Mei Mountain, Jiu Hau Mountain and so on; and witnessed many miracles.
Before 1986, all the dharma protectors at each famous mountain sanctuary were excellent; especially the golden form of Manjushri Bodhisattva, which was as big as a mountain; and Quan Yin Bodhisattva looked merciful and dignified.
On O-Mei Mountain, the sisters were once teased by the immortal with an iron staff, Li (Tieh Kuai Li), who is one of the Eight Immortals. They will never forget his shining iron staff. During their stay on O-Mei Mountain, the chi in their solar plexus started to expand (as though they were pregnant), and then contracted into a golden pellet after ten months.
Upon formation of the golden pellet, it rose up to the heart chakra to be nurtured tenderly. This took a very long time and they had to experience numerous tests, overcome many barriers, and suffer greatly. Thus they took care of each other. When one person encountered a barrier, the other served as a guard when practicing.
After 1986, when they visited the famous mountains and temples, they discovered that the deity guards had all disappeared, and instead other kinds of beings - astral beings, were serving as guards!
From the Taoist point of view, practicing with the solar plexus chakra, one can transform the essence of life into vital energy; at the heart chakra one can transform the vital energy into spirit; and at the ajna chakra (third eye) one can transform the spirit and return to the void. Our Quan Yin Method starts directly from the higher chakra and thus it surpasses other paths!
After the sisters finished the period of great nurturing, one day they were instructed to go to a certain deep mountain on Qin Ridge. When they were climbing the mountain, they met a unicorn which looked like both an ox and a horse, and had scales on its body.
The mountain path was very narrow, and only allowed one person to pass. The unicorn approached them very quickly. They became very frightened, but had nowhere to hide. When the unicorn came in front of them, it nodded, and then jumped up and turned in the air. Then it guided them to a mountain god's temple, before galloping away.
At midnight that night, they expelled the pellets, which turned out to be a tiny, tiny infants that ascended slowly towards the sky. Suddenly, at that moment, celestial music was heard loudly in the sky. A beam of golden light surrounded the infants and in the light, the Most Exalted Lord Lao spoke to them: "Hurry up. Go back, little children, don't play around outside"! So, the infants then slowly returned to their bodies.
They later told me that the expulsion of the red infants requires a special location and time; otherwise, it could be very dangerous.
After going down the mountain, they came across a girl residing at the foot of the mountain. The girl was very surprised to see that they had come down alive, because her father had been dragged by the neck by the unicorn to the edge of a cliff and thrown into the mountain stream below, where he died.
At the time they were practicing at the ajna chakra, and not making any apparent progress. But later they came to know about the Quan Yin Method, and got to know that Supreme Master Ching Hai is a genuine enlightened Master, rarely encountered life after life, and that the Quan Yin Method was the highest of all paths.
They then asked their master whether they could practice this method. The answer they received was: "Yes! Hurry up and practice it! "
One day during meditation, they saw Supreme Master Ching Hai manifest in the sky. She taught them how to practice, giving them supreme blessings and bliss. After they received initiation and practiced, they had very good experiences. They were very grateful to Master, and said that if they had obtained the opportunity to practice the method earlier, they would not have suffered so much!
After they practiced the Quan Yin Method, their previous spiritual levels did not degenerate, but improved greatly.
Practicing with the ajna chakra transforms the spirit into the void; however, if one does not have a certain degree of wisdom as a base one cannot easily achieve success.
The uniqueness of the Quan Yin Method is that it puts us in direct contact with our God nature -- allowing us to realize our true nature? follow the Truth, and experience the sound stream immediately. And through this sound stream it is much easier to ascend to higher levels.
Because the sisters had helped to promote Master's teachings to benefit sentient beings, they achieved a higher inner level within a short time of only one or two months. Moreover, even in daily life, Master's transformation body has taken good care of them, leaving them with nothing to worry about.
They said that Supreme Master Ching Hai is the highest level Master they have ever known. They feel incomparably honored and Lucky to have become Master's disciples; and they hope that one clay they will fulfil their desire to see Her in person!
