Of course we can help other people. However, although we give him our help, sometimes, he is not able to receive it due to his lack of blessing. Should he receive what we gave him, even though he might have assimilated it well, he would lose it one day or through another incident.

Therefore, it is very difficult in this world. It is the same for any Buddha or Master who comes down. They can reason with people and talk about logical matters for them to hear. They would never, for the sake of finding disciples, use any improper means, such as violence, deceit, supernatural powers. All these never work because they are not natural. Anything that is not natural does not work, because it perpetuates causes and effects.
