Poem

The Yearning

By Fellow Initiate Sian, U.K.(Originally in Englich)

Oh Father, let me think
Of Thee day and night,
Of Thee let me speak
Whenever I open my mouth,
And let me see Thee in all.
Let every step I take
Be one hundred steps towards Thy Kingdom,
Let me act of Thy will alone,
Then every action I perform
Will glorify Thee, the Highest.

The longing, the yearning,
I have for Thee,
Let it remain
Always in my heart,
Until the day Thou takes me
Into Thine arms again.
I will melt and merge into Thee,
And become one.

What have I to ask of Thee?
For Thou are the One
That creates the yearning,
The love and strength.
Let me take off my head,
And place it before Thy feet,
To become what I am,
A mere puppet of Thy play.
Do as You please,
For Thy will be done.
And so it is.
