Seminars in Orange

[Florida] After their state was besieged by four major hurricanes in 2004, and in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in neighboring states, Florida initiates felt urged to continue the work of spreading God’s message through a series of spiritual video seminars.

The effort began with five seminars in Orange and Seminole Counties from April 24 to August 20, 2005. Then on September 3 and 18, two more seminars were held in West Palm Beach and Cape Coral respectively. During all of these events Master’s lectures were shown on big screens, and the audience members frequently broke into laughter as they enjoyed Her humor. In addition, almost everyone who attended stayed afterwards to learn the Convenient Method of meditation.

Seminar in Cape Coral

The seminar in Cape Coral was held on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the City Yacht Club, which overlooks the Caloosahatchee River. Many sincere Truth seekers managed to attend the event despite the problem of finding spaces in the Club’s crowded parking lot. During the lecture presentation, the audience listened attentively to Master’s every word. And although Her discourse may have seemed new and unorthodox to some, Her simple yet profound message inspired all who attended.

Seminars in West Palm Beach

As with the seminars in West Palm Beach, most of the guests stayed to learn the Convenient Method after enjoying vegetarian delicacies served by the initiates. Some even took samples of the “exotic” food home, with one woman commenting, “I’m surprised at how tasty your vegetarian food is. If I had this kind of food every day, I wouldn’t need to eat meat anymore.”

The Florida initiates thank God that their state, the “Peninsula of Sunshine,” was spared the devastation of the latest U. S. hurricanes. And in gratitude they plan to hold more seminars in other areas hit by the recent storms in hopes of igniting the spark of enlightenment in local seekers, whose hearts seem ever more open and ready for the Truth, especially in the wake of these disasters.♥

Sharing the New Lifestyle
of the Golden Age

[New York] The 2005 New Life Exhibition, one of the largest body-mind-spirit exhibitions in the United States, was held at the Hotel New Yorker from October 14 to 16. The Exhibition was aimed at introducing lifestyles that can help people relieve stress and escape from their daily routines. New York Center initiates were honored to participate in this important activity and to share Master’s teachings with many aspiring souls.

On display at the initiates’ exhibition booth were Master’s lecture collections, cookbooks and other publications along with Her Longevity Lamps, which created a noble, elegant ambience. During the event many visitors enquired about the Quan Yin Method and received thoughtful responses and invitations to attend a Truth-sharing video seminar at the New York Center on October 30. Some guests said they had been fortunate to hear Master speak during Her last visit to New York, and hoped that they could see Her again.

Two weeks later the video seminar was held at the Center with the theme “The Way to Stop Wars.” In light of the frequent disasters occurring at this time in history, the initiates employed this theme to help people learn to love and understand each other, work to eliminate wars and speed up the purification of planet Earth. Among the participants was a staff member of the New Life Exhibition who became acquainted with the Quan Yin Method through discussions with fellow initiates and later learned of the seminar. She arrived at the Center three hours early, revealing her eagerness for the Truth. After the video presentation an array of exquisite vegetarian snacks were served and many participants stayed to learn the Convenient Form of meditation.

Through their participation in the New Life Exhibition and video seminar, the New York initiates came to deeply appreciate their good fortune in following a living Master and practicing the supreme Method. And while feeling thankful for Master’s grace, they are determined to continue sharing Her divine message so that more of their fellow human beings can enjoy happy, wonderful new lives in the Golden Age.
