M: It is not really an eye; it’s the center of all wisdom, all knowing, all love and all compassion. Once you have access to this center, you’ll know everything, you will have everything within yourself so that you will feel very contented and you will never feel that you’re unhappy or that you lack anything in this world.♥

Q: Master Ching Hai, is Your third eye open so that You can see both the future and the past?

M: Yes. Many of our initiates also have their wisdom eyes opened. If you want to, you can join us and your eye will be opened immediately. But to see the future and past is just a very, very tiny part of the ability you have within you. By the way, there is no future and no past; there is only the present time. Everything happens at one time. It’s because of our ability to see different things happening that we perceive whatever we see as the present, past or future.

Still, there is a choice: If we are enlightened, we can choose pleasant things or unpleasant ones. Out of the whole picture, we can pick what we want to see. There is no past and no future but while we are in the physical world we have a thing called time, which is a mechanism set up so that we can see only in this one dimension. That’s why this world has deluded us, and the illusion is so great that it makes us forget the real World. But that’s the purpose: So that we can try and make the effort to find the real World again.♥
