Master Swiftly Helps Victims
of the Bali Bombing

By the Jakarta News Group (Originally in Indonesian)

On the evening of the October 1, 2005 Bali bombings, local initiates heard of the tragic incident, immediately ceased their overnight meditation session and formed three relief teams to render aid to the victims.

However, upon arriving at the scene of the disaster the relief workers noticed that many police and relief volunteers had already been organized, felt that everything was being handled efficiently and so decided to return to the Jakarta Center to continue meditating. But, on their way back they heard on a local radio broadcast that blood donors were needed to assist the injured victims. Thus the practitioners changed direction and went to the local hospital in Sanglah where most of the injured had been taken.

When they arrived at the hospital, the sisters and brothers went directly to the blood donors’ registration desk. However, since they were all of Asian descent their blood type was not the most needed since the hospital already had plenty in stock. So they asked the physicians if they could do anything else to help the victims and were told that the hospital urgently needed medicine as there was not enough for the fifteen patients who required urgent treatment.

So the practitioners tried repeatedly to buy the medications at a local pharmacy but were refused. Then, just as they were about to give up, they headed back to the pharmacy, this time reciting the Holy Names, and with Master’s help the pharmacists gave them the medicine without question.

After dropping off the vital supplies at the hospital, the initiates headed back to the Bali Center for more meditation. Then about three hours later they returned to the facility to ask if they could render further help. As it happened, the number of patients being attended to had increased to fifty-three, and luckily the doctors had enough medicine due to the initiates’ previous donation!

Through the October 2005 bombing relief activity, the Bali initiates came to realize firsthand how quickly Master can help disaster victims in need by smoothly expediting their work. Without the assistance of Master’s almighty power, the relief team members could not have fulfilled their mission.
