Divine Mercy Uplifts Aulacese Typhoon Victims

In late September 2005, two typhoons struck northern Au Lac, causing flooding that affected eleven provinces. The most severe damage occurred in Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Nam Dinh, and Phu Tho, where many lives were lost and houses, roads and farms were destroyed.
 
In the wake of the storms, initiates throughout the country and from Master’s centers in the U.S. and Australia sent timely relief contributions. Then sisters and brothers from the region quickly formed three work teams to distribute the funds along with the needed material supplies to the victims. Next, while traveling to the affected zones the teams encountered numerous obstacles such as roads and bridges submerged by flood waters. However, thanks to Master’s love and powerful blessings, the volunteers ultimately made their way to the disaster stricken communities.

Upon reaching their destinations the initiates observed looks of shock and helplessness on the flood victims’ faces, but their sadness suddenly changed to joy upon receiving the relief supplies along with literature about Master. The sisters and brothers also expressed their love and deep sympathy to the people, thus helping to ease some of the pain they had experienced from the loss of their loved ones and possessions. In response, the victims seemed truly touched, realizing that The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association was imparting God’s love to them.

While conducting the relief work, the initiates witnessed heart-rending scenes resulting from the typhoons, and their hearts felt such pain and pity they could not hold back their tears!

After sharing God’s love with the victims and conveying the message that Hes always takes care of Hiers children in such calamities, the initiates also prayed that those affected by the disaster would recognize Hirm through the information about Master they had distributed. And as they left the disaster-affected areas, the victims’ glittering eyes showered the initiates with hope.

The disciples who participated in the 2005 northern Au Lac typhoon relief project are grateful to Master for allowing them to express God’s unlimited compassion to the victims and to put into practice Her lesson of selflessness!♥
