| Fellow initiates successfully sharing Master's teachings at the World Vegetarian Congress. |

Thailand was selected to be the host city for the 33rd World Vegetarian Congress
held from January 4-10, 1999 in Chiang Mai. Both local and foreign participants
joined in this event. There were lectures by experts on nutrition, vegetarianism,
macrobiotics, Yoga, Taoism, Thai and Chinese herbal medicine, spirituality,
and the like, to promote physical and mental health. Initiates from Bangkok,
Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen set up a display of Master's video lecture tapes, books
and paintings, and distributed sample booklets. Many passersby became interested
in Master's teachings as a result of this event.
