Video-lecture seminar in Victoria-Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Victoria is a very clean and beautiful city. Its people are friendly, loving, and pure at heart. After having decided to hold a video conference, we had less than a week to arrange everything. When we started to look for a venue, we met a stranger on the street who offered to help. He set aside his own work to accompany us to the hotel where we needed to talk to the owners regarding the lecture venue. While we were putting up posters, a store manager not only let us place the placards in his store but also guided us to a nearby square where we could post more information about the upcoming lecture. The enthusiasm of the people was no less than if it were their own work.

The university faculty and students here are very open-minded. As the students received the fliers, they read Master's name aloud; and their reverberating voices sounded as though Master were a well-known saint in their lives. The teachers at a local high school also indicated how much they liked the sample booklets. The students there requested Master's fliers even while class was in session.

The radio stations and newspapers showed great interest in Master's teachings as well. The local newspaper carried an elaborate report about Master. Channel 7 T.V. interviewed us at the Center, and the interview was aired on the eve and the day of the videotaped lecture.

The seminar was held on February 27. One member of the audience said that he had attended Master's lecture on "The Mystery of the World Beyond" at the United Nations headquarters in New York. He commented that it was a fantastic lecture, and he had been looking for our Center since his return to Mexico. He had finally found us and was ready to receive initiation.

Victoria's "Daily News" and "Mercury News" published reports on Master's videotaped lecture.

After the lecture, the attendees showed great interest in the Supreme Master Ching Hai books and News magazines. Many requested initiation into the Quan Yin Method and the Convenient Method. Most of them were teachers, professors, engineers, and government officials. The mayor's wife, who is almost a full-time pure vegetarian, also attended the lecture and was ready to practice the Convenient Method.

For many days after the lecture, we continued to receive calls from people requesting initiation into the Convenient Method.
