By Diana Nguyen, Houston (Originally in English)

On April 24, 2005, with the wonder and delight of the Spring season pervading the air, fellow initiates from the Houston Center teamed up with The Bread of Life Foundation to help feed over 200 homeless people with delicious, tasteful and nutritious vegetarian meals. One of the recipients' most common comments was "I can't believe this is vegetarian!" We knew then that the food had been blessed by Master, and with tears in our eyes, gratitude surged in our hearts at the chance to extend Her unconditional love to those seeking hope.

During the meal, we played Master's video One World… of peace through music and shared information on Her teachings. The atmosphere was so calm and pleasant that the homeless stopped eating and just watched the video screen. We saw signs of optimism in their eyes and understood that these less fortunate sisters and brothers were there not only for food but for the message of an enlightened Master that reunited them with God.

When the day was over, the Houston disciples were invited to come back regularly, and went home feeling a sense of joy and happiness. We also knew that without Master's guidance and blessings, we could not have brought hope to those in need. We will continue to spread Master's love and teachings to those seeking the Truth.
