Bright sunshine is rare in the
month of November. A gentle breeze was blowing and it was a perfect day for
an excursion. So, the Taipei Center guards' group arranged an excursion to
the countryside for the Center's little disciples.
After reaching
the higher elevations of the local countryside, the young initiates happily
took out their toys. Some flew kites, some played ball, and others played
Frisbee. The meadow resounded with laughter. All this formed a beautiful scene.
Later, a sister led the disciples in singing and dancing, and taught them
to play police and robbers. The older initiates had a wonderful time while
the younger ones shouted, jumped about, and laughed happily.
In the afternoon,
the initiates went hiking to strengthen their stamina. After a long journey
in the natural surroundings, all were wet with perspiration by the time they
reached their destination, a waterfall. For urban residents, a return to nature
and some exercise are beneficial for both body and spirit.
