During
my three months of participation in the work team for Master's 1993 lecture
tour in Europe, I did not work on my graduate studies at all. When I came
back to Louvain, Belgium, I had five months in which to finish my Ph.D. thesis,
a process that normally takes at least a year. I virtually lived in my research
laboratory without rest and sleep, except for going back to my dormitory to
eat and bathe. Others did not believe that I could finish my Ph.D. in time.
Suddenly, an American sister initiate appeared to help edit the English in
my thesis. After the editing, she disappeared. She simply had been sent by
God to help me finish my Ph.D. thesis in time.
