Several
issues back, the Suma News magazine introduced the Galaxy BBS to its
readers. The latest articles from the News magazines are posted regularly
on the BBS, while a wide variety of information on vegetarianism and
healthy foods, medicine and health, technology and lifestyles is also
available. The Galaxy has become the frequent haunt of many Net surfers
who sign on daily, reading each and every word of the discussion column
as they would a newspaper commentary.
The Galaxy is classified
as a spiritual bulletin board on the Internet, and visitors to this
Web site often raise spiritual questions. Contact and dialogue with
guests have led fellow initiates to a deeper realization of just how
superb the Quan Yin Method is and how precious Master's teachings are.
For many of them, this has been an unexpected gift in that their spiritual
faith has thus been strengthened.
National Tsinghua
University is well known for its science and technology education in
Formosa. The Galaxy's high technological standards have won for its
BBS an exclusive computer, connection lines, and Web site from the Information
Institute of the NTHU. The Galaxy is also working in cooperation with
Formosa's third largest Internet Service Provider, Hitron Technology,
that provides computers and network connections for its use. Hitron
advertises freely for the Galaxy on its Web pages, and has registered
with the Network Information Center (an organization of international
internet in charge of the application and registration of the Web sites
worldwide) for an exclusive international Web site for this BBS.
