"Divided Existence"

A report on a lecture by Prof. Lee Si-chen about the "Divided Existence" theory of atoms that states that warm objects have the potential to emit light.

Lee Si-chen gave a lecture yesterday entitled "The Extraordinary Ability of the Human Body -- True or False" at the National Taiwan University campus. He mentioned several scientific conclusions. His lecture attracted great audience interest. He pointed out that the science of the human body was too deep to be measured. Many of the human body's phenomena were unexplained because of a lack of understanding of ourselves. He predicted that the science of the human body would be at the forefront of science next century.

Lee Si-chen said that science had already proved that the same atom could exist at different places separated by eighty angstroms (one angstrom equals to 10-8 cm). In other words, in the microcosmic world, “divided existence of the atom did exist. Whether the same phenomenon could exist in the macrocosmic world would need further research to ascertain. He also said that all warm things could emit light -- this is a recognized physical phenomenon -- only that the wavelength would be different. The light could be strong in someone but weak in another, or it could be seen by some but not by others.

It was in 1992 that Prof. Lee Si-chen formally established the pecial Studies on Human Body Potentials course in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National Taiwan University. Within four years, after numerous repeated experiments, he found that four students had special potentials. He used sophisticated machines to measure their physiological parameters (such as electrical brain waves) and compared these with those of Chi Kung masters to see if there were any similar physiological patterns, trying to reveal the mystery of the human body potentials.

The research found that when four students, who had an obvious telepathic ability, closed their eyes, a very small amplitude resulted in their peak brain waves. It was below 4mV, very similar to those found in meditation practitioners when reaching a high level of amadhi . Lee Si-chen inferred that in the state of samadhi, the brain's physiological activities were lowered, with a lessening of interference. This showed that even the very weak external signals could enter the conscious part of the brain and not be obstructed by interference. Furthermore, in an experiment sing mind power to turn a compass needle, the right cheeks of the tested subjects produced a magnetic field as high as 115 Gauss -- four hundred times the Earth's magnetic field. It illustrated that part of the mind's power is produced from a magnetic field.

Lee Si-chen said that more incredible findings came out from research into ecognized words with fingers or ecognizing words with ears that were actually factual. However, this non-visual ision had to be accompanied by the releasing of electricity from the palm of the hand and the lowering of blood flow to the brain and blood pressure. Also, the temperature of the hand had to be below 340 Celsius.

He emphasized that if scientists could find out the secret of recognizing words with fingers, estoring vision for the blind would not be impossible.
