[Seoul] On October 26, the local Center organised a 1-day exhibition of illustrated poems called the Fall '96 Poem Recitation and Exhibition. This time of year chrysanthemums are in full bloom so the atmosphere was sweetly perfumed. The event, which was held outside the SM Vegetarian Restaurant in Seoul, exhibited creative illustrations of Master's poems as well as those of artistic fellow practitioners. There were two poems recitation performances as well as two singing performances - a daytime performance for fellow practitioners, their relatives and friends, and a night time performance for would-be initiates and others.

The event fell on Korean D-Day amidst glorious sunshine and of course the beautiful chrysanthemums. A few people were moved to tears during the poem recitations, so at the end of the day we lifted our spirits with a sing-a-long.
