   A while ago, I had a hard time finding a job; I wondered why I was not able to find even a simple job, considering all my work experiences. Later, I reluctantly accepted an offer to teach an evening class for those who wanted to take supplementary courses.

After taking this job, one day I took the opportunity to go and meditate at the meditation center. During my meditation, suddenly I was enlightened; the long time depressing knot in my heart was finally untied. Invisibly I got a revelation: "I will give love to others and take good care of those around me."

That same day happened to be the Dragon Boat Festival Holiday. I was thinking to myself that I was all alone, away from my family. In past years, some fellow practitioners always lovingly gave me some "zong zi" (a pyramidal shaped dumpling made of glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaves, usually eaten during the Dragon Boat Festival) to eat, but this year it seemed unlikely that I would have such good fortune. Unexpectedly, as I was leaving the meditation center, a sister initiate on guard duty stopped me and gave me a "zong zi". Immediately my heart was filled with warmth; I was deeply touched that Master was so attentive and caring of me -- She even had a "zong zi" ready for me to celebrate the festival. I am so touched by Master's meticulous love and more determined to try hard to put Her teachings into practice.

That afternoon, after going back to work, a former colleague of mine who had already left her job, came to visit me. With excitement, she told me that she had a magical, yet vivid dream. In the dream I brought her with me to go to visit Master, and we went to a transparent and shining bright palace. Master happily walked down the long staircase to receive us. She had a graceful bearing and looked as young and beautiful as a girl in her youth. Her hair was long and black; Her lips were rosy; Her skin was snow white and translucent; and Her eyes were big and fathomless.

Upon hearing her experience, I was deeply shocked -- this from a person who had never known Master before! And yet was able to have such a strong affinity with Her, all just because she used to be the colleague of Her disciple. I immediately gave her a copy of the Supreme Master Ching Hai News magazine I had on hand, wishing that her affinity with Master would soon bear fruit.

Another colleague of mine who heard the story with me invited me on that occasion to have dinner with her. During dinner, she asked many questions concerning spiritual practice and meditation. In our conversation, due to the blessings from Master's inspiration, we talked very congenially. Even I myself was surprised to discover that I was able to explain such a string of hows and whys. Instantly, a wave of inexplicable love filled my being, surging tempestuously within me, leaving me shaken for a long time.

I left my job soon after. During the period of time that I worked there, in addition to the miraculous incidents of the above mentioned colleagues, another colleague spontaneously decided to keep a vegetarian diet. I came to the sudden understanding that, sometimes temporary difficulties are not necessarily tests; we must always keep our faith and think positively to allow Master to make use of such opportunities to teach us and to enable us to become efficient tools in spreading the message of the Quan Yin Method. If we practiced more diligently, we would be more able to receive Master's invisible messages. Thus, we should be gentle and try to be more open in accepting various situations in life, "adapting ourselves to different circumstances without fear"!
