The sickness of being possessed is easy to cure; but the sickness of the ego, wow, extremely difficult to cure, because one is not even aware of the existence of one's ego. It is very hard to explain such delicate matters to you. It is just because you think that whatever you do is done by yourself; so you have troubles, you have cause and effect, you have merit and karma. If we don't think that it is we, ourselves, who are doing it, then there is no problem at all, understand? It is like the wind blowing in the air, nothing is harmed; but if we place an object in its path, then it will be blown down. If someone hits the air, no one will be hurt; but if we stand in his way, then of course we will feel pain!
