Master Mommy! Your Name Is Love

　With the arrival of the glorious month of May, we come to celebrate the Mother Master's birthday, as well as Mother's Day. Fellow initiates from around the world expressed their gratitude to Master in earnest prayers, attentive meditation and active practices of Master's teachings of love. They also pray for Mother Master's good health, happiness and for Her leading Her disciples into a new spiritual era.

　In order to celebrate Mother's Day, big red hearts and different colored carnations were hung everywhere in Hsihu Center; the little angel decorations around the columns seemed to be singing joyfully and harmoniously, just like us, children of old and young ages, singing our immeasurable gratitude to Master. Mother is not home this time, but the esteem and love of fellow initiates for Her is not a bit lessened. Their yearning for Her grows with each passing day, especially on the 1-Day Thank You Retreat on Master's birthday where prayers for Her health and happiness were expressed, as well as wishes for more smiles for all mothers worldwide.

　The "Papa Sun finally shone as a special treat after an entire week of rainfall, as if to join the celebration of the festival of all mothers. Many new video tapes and CD's of "Traces of the Past" recited by Master, Herself, were published before this festival, with the purpose of presenting fellow initiates a spiritual feast. With great joy, fellow initiates made their purchases as the best gifts for their mothers. Some fellow initiates not only extended best wishes to their mothers, but thinking of the care on the part of elderly women, they also bought little presents of extraordinary meanings for them. Thanks to Master's painstaking training, fellow initiates have developed their love for others. Some mothers also bought Celestial Clothes as reward for their own whole year of work.

　As the 1-Day Retreat came to an end, the master of ceremonies read the congratulatory telegrams to Master, our Holy Mother. Then, ten minutes of a collective meditation ensued. Accompanying the cheerful song "Happy Birthday was the cutting of the vegetarian birthday cake. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant. Though there were a lot of people, perfect order was maintained as if everyone had become good children, the ones Master has always expected.

　In the past, Master has spent most of Her holy birthdays and Mother's Days here with us in Formosa. This time, She is far way in Cambodia conducting the 7-Day International Retreat. Missing their Mother, the children of Formosa realized how deep the yearning of initiates abroad for Her must have been in the past. Meanwhile, they urge themselves to grow up quickly, so that they can play a helpful role in Master's work to serve people. In this way, Master's painstaking efforts in training them will not have been wasted.
