Nigerian Windstorm Victims Receive Master’s Love

In August 2009, a windstorm struck Nigeria’s Ogoja-Cross River State causing three people to lose their lives and damaging thousands of homes, including 40 percent in one community. Hearing of the disaster, Supreme Master Ching Hai contributed US$15,000 and on August 20, a relief team went to the region to distribute two hundred 50-kg bags of rice to those affected. One villager knew of the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association and told a team member that he had watched Supreme Master Television on satellite.

At a meeting with the relief team, the Local Government Chairman of Ogoja thanked God for bringing the Association all the way from Formosa (Taiwan) to Nigeria and prayed that God would bless Master, saying it really touched his heart to see the love She showed his people.
