Supreme Master TV on Dutch Cable

By Amsterdam News Group (Originally in Dutch)

[Amsterdam] In the Netherlands, where cable penetration is among the highest in the world at 95 percent, Supreme Master Television has taken a commendable first step in reaching out to the public through a digital broadcast agreement with a local cable company.

Beginning on October 24, Golden Year 5 (2008),
subscribers to the Rekam (Regional Cable Television Middle Holland) Network have welcomed the opportunity to view soul-elevating programs on Supreme Master TV. Rekam serves about 44,000 subscribers in and around the city of Gouda, in central Netherlands, about 75% to 80% of whom have a decoder for tuning in to digital broadcasts. Those with this digital decoder will be able to watch Supreme Master TV on cable.

The thoughtful addition of Dutch subtitles to Supreme Master’s “Words of Wisdom” and some of the other inspirational programs has been widely appreciated, and the television staff are hoping to make this possible for all of the programs.

Vegetarian Goes Airborn in Holland!

Recently, Dutch disciples started a new campaign to spread vegetarianism. They printed a few thousand balloons, made of a naturally decomposing plant-based material, with “Be Veg, Go Green, Save the Planet” to distribute among children in the shopping areas of all the major cities in Holland. The reactions from the children and their parents were very positive. The colorful balloons also got the attention of other shoppers who received benefit from the loving message.

For individuals who wanted to know more, the disciples handed out flyers with some facts about the relationship between livestock farming and greenhouse gas emissions.
