Master’s infinite love and selfless generosity have brightened the lives of hundreds of needy and chronically ill children in Slovenia.

During a visit to Slovenia in February, Golden Year 5 (2008), to mourn the passing of its President, Dr. Janez Drnovšek, Master met with several government officials and community leaders. (Please see News #195.) To Ms. Barbara Žgajner Tavš, member of parliament and representative of The Foundation to Help Children, Master presented a check for €10,000 to assist several hundred underprivileged and chronically ill children and their families.

Master also presented €10,000 to Mr. Iztok Kordiš, headmaster of Waldorf School, to help fund a special project for students in need. In response to Her statement that the vegetarian diet is a viable solution to climate change, Waldorf School has taken a positive step by becoming the first academic institute in the country to offer vegetarian meals to students. Its decision concurs with Master’s view that if each one tries to save his or her own little world, then perhaps we can save the whole world.
