I bow my head before You, my great Master

And I fall at Your feet.

Only You are now in my heart,

And with a shining ray You fill it with love.

Chorus: Like a white crane, You swim in me
Your Grace purifies the dark waters.

Then Light flashes in front of my eyes

And You melt the evil in me like wax.

I hear the voices of thousands of souls,

Seeking only You with the words, “Master, forgive!”

(Repeat chorus)

I hear how angels sing of You in the night

And glorify Your Name in all the Heavens;

I hear the words of all the saints and sages:

“Bow and glory to You, great Master!”

(Repeat chorus)

“Who could that be – so pure and saintly?” –

Shiveringly asked the illusion-Maya.

And he, as well, made a bow at Your Lotus-Feet

Then disappeared again – to go make some mischief…

Chorus: Like a white crane, You swim in me
Your Grace purifies the dark waters.
