Wonderful Group Meditation in Hsihu
Spiritual Interludes

During the week, I often look forward to the Sunday group meditation in Hsihu, to enjoying the beautiful meditation time in the cool serenity of the bamboo groves. The gurgling of the Nectar River makes me feel refreshed and cool in the hot summer. The banyans and firs soothe my body and mind when I sit in the Forest Meditation Hall. And the blooming flowers and well-arranged meditation seats at the International Garden are always pleasing to the eye at the end of the meditation session.

The power of group meditation is truly incredible. Sometimes during the meditation, God encircles me in a big halo. Sometimes after just a few seconds of meditation, the group meditation is over. That’s because I went into samadhi. Master recently came back to Formosa during the Lunar New Year and blessed every corner of Hsihu. When I walk around the ashram, I can feel Her loving vibrations in the air. All the plants grow happily, which makes us so relaxed and contented. After meditation, I am so fulfilled and filled with joy. Sometimes I can’t help humming a tune. My favorite is the two-day meditation retreat every month. I feel such peace in the atmosphere. When I see all the brothers and sisters practicing so diligently, I would tell myself to be more diligent as well.

The exhibition area showcases Master’s beautiful artwork such as paintings, celestial jewelry, fans, and SM celestial clothes. Its shining radiance makes one want to linger. At lunch time, I see many families have come to the group meditation together. The vegetarian children show their happy and healthy smiles. Many relax in their hammocks by the Nectar River. Everyone is happy and satisfied. This scene definitely cheers one up. We are so grateful to Master for it is Her love and grace that brings us such heavenly time.
