A Loving Angel

from Switzerland to Au Lac

From Supreme Master Television News, Episode #133 and 134

The Maison Chance is a charitable organization founded by Miss Tim Aline Rebeaud ♥♥♥♥♥, a young Swiss artist who traveled through Asia and found herself in Au Lac. One evening whilst in this country, Miss Rebeaud found a little child in tears, abandoned. She realized the very difficult conditions of orphaned and street children. After buying the child food, she did not have the heart to abandon him so she decided to rent a house to take him and other homeless children in. Now, 13 years later, the organization she began is still going strong.

This center is neither a shelter nor a hospital, but a simple dwelling that is equipped to provide, most importantly, medical care, and also education and training for handicapped citizens. The long-term objective of Maison Chance is to help the beneficiaries acquire professional skills that will allow them to become financially autonomous and successfully re-integrate into society. After years of development, Maison Chance has become an international organization with branches in Au Lac, France, Switzerland, the United States and Belgium.

After learning of Tim's selfless dedication, Supreme Master Ching Hai made a contribution of US$10,000 to Maison Chance in January, Golden Year 4 (2007), in order to assist this humanitarian organization in serving more children and adults in need. In a thank you letter, Miss Rebeaud expressed her gratitude to Supreme Master Ching Hai: “It is with our deepest appreciation that we address this letter to You. We would like to thank You for Your genuine interest in our organization and Your generous donation of $10,000. Your donation came like a great surprise! We take this spontaneous donation as a mark of confidence in our work and our cause and we are flattered.”
