a Seed of God’s Love

On the day of the seminar, as soon as we arrived at the library to set up, suddenly people appeared as angels from God to help: a security guard who gathered all the tables and things we needed, and two boys who offered to assist us. We quickly transformed the library meeting room into a welcoming atmosphere with Master's pictures, paintings and Longevity Lamps.
As the seminar was about to begin, we suddenly had some technical difficulties. Wishing that the guests would not have to just sit and wait, one sister initiate tried to open the piano in the room so she could play. However, it was locked. Once again, the security guard appeared. This time he unlocked the piano without even mentioning the rental fee normally charged for using it. People very much enjoyed the music, accompanied by another music studies sister who played the flute. Meanwhile, with Master’s blessing, we were able to borrow a television and DVD player from the library. Once the lecture began, people listened very attentively and laughed heartily at Master’s jokes. We were touched by their sincerity, which seemed to reflect their soul’s yearning for the Truth. One gentleman who saw a lady hesitating to go inside for the seminar encouraged her positively that there was a very nice thing going on inside the seminar room. Another lady who had originally planned to leave after the video, instead stayed to learn the Convenient Method. And another person said that he was happy he changed his schedule to attend the seminar. After learning the Convenient Method, he also took some flyers to share with his class. From people’s warm and smiling faces, we could tell that they really felt the heavenly happiness from inside. When the seminar was over, we were very glad we had done it and thankful for the blessing of being able to share Master’s teachings with the people.

God’s Heavenly Teachings

Early in the morning, practitioners gathered to decorate the booth, which turned out to be one of the most outstanding displays at the Expo. Master’s presence in a large photo attracted many to our booth. In addition, a big screen projector presented DVDs of Master’s spiritual teachings and humanitarian work around the world. Many came to listen to Master’s message and admire Her work. According to the Expo organizers, 18,000 visitors attended this event. Our brothers and sisters distributed approximately 5,000 copies of the Alternative Living flyers, accompanied by copies of two vegan recipes. Hundreds of sample booklets were also given out. Some people enthusiastically requested extra copies for their friends. It was deeply moving to see people open Master’s booklet and immediately start reading it, page after page, right on the spot. At the end of the event, the initiates who participated
in the Expo were extremely happy. They felt Master’s immense
blessings and were deeply grateful for the chance to help more of
God’s children learn about Hiers Heavenly teachings.

[New
Jersey] On June 10, Golden Year 3 (2006), New Jersey initiates
organized a video seminar in the downtown public library of Newark.
We could not do much advertising, so it was a blessing when the main
library offered to distribute seminar flyers on our behalf to its
ten branch libraries. A week prior to the seminar, we also went to
downtown Newark and surrounding areas to distribute seminar announcements
along with Alternative Living flyers and advertisement postcards for
Master’s TV program.
[Los
Angeles, California] On June 24 and 25, Golden Year 3 (2006),
Los Angeles Center initiates had the opportunity to introduce Master’s
teachings to local people and tourists by having a display booth at
the Body Beautiful Expo in the Anaheim Convention Center, the same
hall where Master lectured in 1993.
The
executive director of Pharmanex Company, who was also a nearby exhibitor,
stated: “We need more people like your organization to do this
work!” There was also a young man who came to the booth with
a flyer in his hand. He told us that he had printed it already himself
from our Web site and that he had been looking for our booth. He said,
“I want to learn the Quan Yin Method of meditation. I have been
a vegetarian for more than three years, since reading Master’s
teachings online.” He gladly learned the Convenient Method the
following week and is now waiting for Master’s approval to receive
initiation into the Quan Yin Method.
