For
ten years, my fiancée, who only recently heard about Master,
has had a disease called thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP),
which affects the victim's blood plasma, and can result in death without
proper treatment. Because hers was the first case of TTP identified
in Brazil, her family had to bring in a Canadian specialist and spend
a great deal of money to properly diagnose and treat the illness.
The
treatments she has to undergo are very tiring. Each time she must spend
several hours connected to a special machine in order to extract the
plasma from her blood and replace it with donated plasma from a blood
bank. For her first three treatments, she required hospitalization for
more than 60 days, and was sedated for each of more than a hundred plasma
exchanges. During these times, she felt very weak from undergoing the
arduous process, and always needed a lot of time to recover.
Finally,
she decided to go to one of her treatments with a necklace bearing Master's
picture, and asked for Master's help. This time, she had a very rapid
recovery and did not need to be hospitalized, which surprised the attending
physicians, who could not explain the sudden change. But we all know
that it was due to Master's blessing force! Although her disease is
a great burden, my fiancée's life has become easier and happier
through Master's divine help.
