Helping Inmates
Spiritually and Physically

 

In addition to delivering contributions from local initiates, a Quan Yin messenger holds a spiritual seminar for inmates to convey Master's love.

Chilean initiates spent years attempting to share Master's teachings with prison inmates. Their long-term communication efforts have at last paid off, as local prisons have welcomed our spiritual lectures, meditation teaching, and material assistance. A mental health counselor asked us to comfort AIDS victims living in isolation and suffering from great stress, and to provide sports and recreational equipment that could help alleviate their depression. When we shared this information with the local initiates, we received a warm response: Generous contributions came in immediately, and the money was used to purchase the most needed items for the inmates. When we visited the AIDS victims with a Quan Yin messenger, they welcomed us warmly and at their request for another visit, we decided to pay monthly visits to the inmates.
