Initiates from New York introduce Master's teachings at the "New Life Expo"

[New York] On March 2-4, 2001, the New York Center participated in the 'New Life Expo', which attracts tens of thousands of people thirsting for physical and spiritual health. The local weather forecasters had predicted a major snowstorm, which was to bring over two feet of snow to the city during the time of the Expo, but with Master's blessings, the weather was mild. All of our volunteers who came from out of state had no trouble getting home at all.
It was the first time for some of our volunteers to participate in such an event, but they did an expert job in introducing Master's teachings, and answered numerous questions about meditation on the Inner Light and Sound.

Through our display of Master's videos, flyers, sample booklets and magazines, we were able to satisfy the curiosity of many seekers, and some even planned to attend our video seminars to be held on March 25 and April 7 to learn more about the Quan Yin Method.

One young Chinese student very much admired Master's artistic creations and Celestial Clothes designs. She particularly loved reading Master's poems, but could not afford to buy one of Her poetry books. Luckily, a disciple remembered that Master once said if someone liked Her books but could not afford them, we should give them as a gift. When we told the young student she could have the book for free, her face lit up with a huge, happy smile, and she broke into tears. People witnessing this scene were deeply touched by everyone's sincerity

The Expo was the occasion for many wonderful inner experiences for us, for instance, starting from the second day of the event, everyone began to feel powerful vibrations, and an atmosphere of light and joy around our booth. Some attendees told us that they came back and sat around our booth for reasons that they could not understand. But we all knew that, because Master's blessings had created a calm and peaceful vibration, people kept visiting us again and again. The purifying power of meditation was clearly shown to us during those special three days!
