Combined Report from Formosa

[Kinmen] Kinmen is an offshore island of Formosa. Answering their intense longing to hold group meditations on the island, God arranged for the local initiates to have their own meditation Center this year. The Kinmen Center is situated at the foot of Five Tiger Hill in Kinmen National Park; local people call the place "West Hill Village". The Center is constructed of metal sheets, and the surrounding environment is quite spacious and tranquil.

Fellow practitioners on Kinmen, a small island off the coast of Formosa, rejoice at having a place for group meditation.

[Changhua]
The Changhua Center contributed a complete set of Master's publications, including poetry and story books, magazines, and sample booklets, to the renowned Hsiu Chuan Memorial Hospital in Changhua.

[Chiayi] On April 9, Formosa's Buddhist Faa Shing Bao Lin Society held a charity fair to raise funds for social services provided by the Family Helpers of Luku rural township. There were more than a hundred booths at the fair, one of which was sponsored by The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association. At the booth, fellow practitioners sold vegetarian food, the proceeds of which were contributed to the charity fund.

[Tainan] In March of this year, the Tainan Center conducted two spiritual seminars at the Tainan Prison and the Tainan Detention Center. More than a hundred drug-rehabilitated inmates attended the seminar at the Prison, and more than 300 residents attended the one at the Center. All of the participants learned the Convenient Method of meditation.
