Thank
You for giving my family and me the opportunity to attend the One-World
benefit concert at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.
My husband, my parents and I are extremely thankful for Your generous
hospitality.
The
One-World benefit concert was an event that I would remember for the
rest of my life. I have never witnessed an event where a single individual
can make an enormous difference in so many people's lives through a
medium that is so fundamental to mankind's existence. This medium is
of course music. The individual is Supreme Master Ching Hai.
Listening
to the poetic lyrics by Supreme Master Ching Hai uplifted me. It opened
my eyes to what the world is like and what the world could be like.
Supreme Master Ching Hai has rejuvenated my spirit and strengthened
my faith. Her dedication to children, the inheritors of our future,
showed clearly throughout the concert evening.
One again, thank You
for making my family's holiday season extra special.
Dearest
Master Ching Hai,
I
was so moved by You & Your spirit on the night of our performance
at the Shrine. I watched the monitors backstage as You graciously &
beautifully, (even though unexpectedly,) sang that lovely song. I watched
the documentary on what Your organization has done and was also deeply
inspired. I have a statue of Quan Yin next to my work table and would
love more information on meditation. You are truly a gift to the planet
- it was an honor to be given the opportunity to recite Your poetry
during Fred Karlin's brilliant piece, "The Peace Seeker".
Your
"humble small" gift was such a surprise, and yet in my experience
of Your generous spirit and heart, it shouldn't be.
I
have a newly expanded family of 4, so from all of us to You, we thank
You and will be giving a portion of Your gift to the Starlight Foundation
- we support all the efforts to heal the children and our world - may
God continue to bless You as You have blessed the planet.
