Association members in Montreal, Canada came together in the spirit of giving during this holiday season, sharing Master’s love with the homeless. On Saturday, December 22, Golden Year 4 (2007), fresh sandwiches and gift bags were prepared at the Montreal Center. Each bag contained delicious and nutritious veggie sandwiches, juice, chocolate, wafers and fruits. Fellow initiates then visited a downtown shelter, La Maison du Père, where the gifts were happily accepted by several homeless guests.

The news that a group was outside distributing Christmas gifts spread quickly. The homeless who were queuing at the shelter for a night’s bed heard the news and rushed towards the fellow initiates. In a flash, everything was gone, leaving both givers and recipients feeling happy. Some of the people said that the gift had come just on time, when they really needed it. At that time we felt as if Master had brought gifts to them Herself, comforting them in this merry holiday season. Thank You, Master, for reminding us of the true spirit of Christmas.
