Master's Wonders

Sincere Prayer

Leads to a Miracle

By Brother Li from China (Originally in Chinese)

On November 23, Golden Year 3 (2006), a group of fifteen Chinese fellow practitioners were preparing to fly to Thailand for the seven-day seminar. One of the sisters had never traveled abroad before. Her passport and visa were ready, she said, and all she needed was a plane ticket.

When we met at the Beijing airport on the day of our departure, I checked her passport and found that she did not have a Thai visa. The sister had assumed that having a passport meant the visa was ready too. Less than three hours remained before our boarding time. We were at a loss because it normally took two to three days to obtain a visa and to get one within such short period of time seemed impossible. Besides, the airport was an hour away from the Thai embassy when traffic was light. With heavy traffic, it would take much longer.

However, this was not a matter for consideration, I thought. As long as there was the slightest hope, we should do our best to not leave behind a fellow initiate who was longing to see Master. Immediately, I contacted the airport staff, but was told that there was not enough time to get a visa. We could only pray to Master for help. I managed to contact a friend who was the manager of a travel agency for overseas tours. After learning about our situation, she agreed to help right away. We took a taxi to the Thai embassy, where she had already arranged for her staff to be waiting for us.

To our surprise, we did not meet a single red light on the way and traffic was light. We reached the embassy and it took us just ten minutes to get the visa. My friend then arranged for her car to take us back to the airport as fast as possible. Again, there was little traffic and it was green lights all the way.

When the fellow initiates at the airport saw us return, they were overjoyed. “This is incredible! It is really a miracle,” they said. We are very grateful for Master' blessings. If it had not been for Master, how could we have obtained the visa so quickly?
