Dear
Master
understands your confusion in following the Commandment of not killing
or obeying your father's orders to eat meat. The answer will be very
clear if you will imagine that your father asked you to kill other
people. Would you do that? Definitely not, isn't that correct?
Animals are also our brothers and sisters. They have feelings just
as we do. How could we bear to kill and eat them? When we eat the
meat of animals that have been killed, all their feelings of fear,
anger, and hatred come to us. These feelings are not at all good for
our body. They might even ask us to repay their life that they have
lost. That would be very terrible. Meat also contains a lot of bacteria
that can make us sick. We can get a well-balanced meal from different
vegetables, fruits, nuts, and milk products. Eating these types of
things will cause less diseases and bad consequences.
If your father won't listen to you, perhaps you can ask your mother
to explain things to him. Ask her to prepare vegetarian box meals
for you when you go to see your father. If your father tries to force
you, just politely and lovingly tell him that you will follow all
of his good advice, such as to be a good child and to study hard,
but you won't eat meat.
Try to use wisdom and love to solve your problems. Try not to be judgmental
of your father. He is not a bad person; it's just that he has been
taught that way and he tries to do his best according to his understanding.
His Wisdom has not been opened yet. Be patient and loving with all
your family members. Master's Power will help you, your sister, and
your father as well.
With
Master's love,
The
