In
this movie, a farmer brings home an ordinary piglet. He already has
many other animals, including ducks, roosters, birds, cats, sheep, cows,
and dogs, all of which can communicate with each other. It is amazing
that a dog can even take care of the piglet as though it were its own
offspring.
Some
animals are of a high spiritual level, so we cannot look down upon them.
For instance, the female dog in this movie sheds tears when she sees
her puppies being sold and taken away. The little piglet is pure and
innocent. Earlier, the piglet tries to save a flock of sheep, but one
of the sheep is bitten by a wild dog and dies from its wounds. The piglet
feels sad and cries. With all its heart, it wants to be a shepherd "piglet",
but its master has no faith in it. Later, the master sees the piglet
in a different light.
Later
there is a national shepherd dog contest and the sheep there are difficult
to drive. When the master presents the piglet for the contest, the audience
laughs. The piglet tries to talk to the black sheep but they do not
listen. The male dog rushes back to the pastureland to ask the sheep
for advice. Then it goes back to the site of the contest and tells the
piglet the secret of talking to sheep. In the contest, the shepherd
dogs are able to drive the sheep into the pen but in a disorderly fashion.
Only the piglet is able to get the male and female sheep to line up
in separate lines and walk into the pen in order. When the gate is closed,
the audience bursts into thunderous applause. As long as one does not
use violence but talks to others kindly, one will definitely succeed.
Happily the master says to the piglet, "You are really a very nice
piglet." In the end, even the strictest judge gives the piglet
full marks.
