most gracious gift of $4,000.00, which is a rather significant contribution
to furthering our work, here in south Florida, as we accommodate the
needs of the Homeless.

This
contribution was given in lieu of any exchange or promise of goods
or services rendered by the Miami City Mission. In the event that,
again, your association were to make another donation in the future,
it may be sent to the P.O. box above or to acct. # 3601462265 with
Nationsbank, for direct deposit as was the original arrangement.

Please
accept my apology for the lateness of this response, in recognition
of your contribution to our efforts to ease the suffering of the many
who come to us for help.
You
are one of a relatively very few who responded to the article in the
Miami Herald, regarding the problems which recently have been plaguing
the Mission. It is inspiring to find such an interest generated by
those like yourself who don't even necessarily live in the area. There
was, for example another donation which came to us from N.Y. City.
In any case. You are so commended, because so few local readers actually
responded, relative to their number.
Please
keep us in your prayer and give as you're able. May God's blessings
in your life be realized. Once again, on behalf of the less fortunate
